What may a facilitation engagement may look like?

Whilst no engagement is the same, some consistent steps include:

— A private conversation with the board chair to understand the context, the relationship dynamics, the knowns and unknowns

— An environmental scan of the organisation's industry, regulatory environment and strategic pressures

— Confidential stakeholder interviews with selected board members, executives or other relevant voices prior to the session

— Bespoke session design built entirely around what the research and interviews reveal

— Skilled, non-directive facilitation that holds the room through complexity and discomfort without rushing to resolution

— A follow-up conversation with the chair to support integration of what emerged and to identify the questions that need to be carried forward
